Welcome to Walberton Gardeners  Club.

There has been a Horticulture Society in the village since 1918, so after all those years we felt it

needed a relaunch, hence Walberton Gardeners Club.

We welcome anyone with an interest in growing anything from an indoor pot plant, a few herbs

in a window box, or flowers fruit and vegetables in an allotment or garden.
Our shows aren’t just for the green fingered, but for all the great cooks and bakers out there,

and of course the crafters and photographers.
The first show in 1918 attracted over 400 visitors! So, come and visit one of our shows. Enjoy the exhibits and stay for a tea and home made cakes.

Our Vision

Living with the Covid epidemic and the effects of global warming has got everyone thinking more about their immediate environment and what better way than to get down, get digging and watch things grow.

The satisfaction you feel when you put your best flowers into a competition for a laugh and see that you

did well or when you find your runner beans are the biggest, or even when  you grew the wonkiest carrots

is just great.

We want everyone to be able to join in and learn about gardening or if you are a super gardener pass on your tips to those of us who could do better!

So, if you are a beginner with blight or your seeds won't grow there is bound to be someone willing to show you the ropes. From nine to ninety there is no better way than to join the new

"Walberton Gardeners Club" for Talks, Trips, Shows, Coffee, Cakes and Fun and whatever new and good ideas we can think of..
